This collection contains Catholic and Marian printed ephemera including postcards, Christmas cards, greeting cards, photographs, souvenirs, brochures, pamphlets, marketing materials, and clippings. The images date from circa 1850 through 2011 and depict the Blessed Virgin Mary, Madonna and Child, events in the life of Jesus and Mary, Marian shrines, and Marian titles. In some cases, the images include text such as a prayer or advertisement. The materials in this collection primarily date from the mid-20th century.
